AJ Rafael and The Music Speaks Committee Present The Red Roses Formal “Prom”: A Benefit Night of Fun and Excitement to Raise Awareness for Autism
“Prom,” which is open to the public, features a sit down dinner, live musical performances, and celebrity guest appearances
LOS ANGELES, CA (MAY 8, 2012) – AJ Rafael and The Music Speak[s Committee cordially invite the public, celebrity friends, and family to the Red Roses Formal: “Prom,” on the evening of Friday, June 22, 2012 at the breath-taking Royal Vista Country Club in Walnut, California from 8pm-1am. Proceeds from the Red Roses Formal will go towards production expenses for the annual Music Speaks concert series, which all donations are given to the Orange County Walk Now for Autism Speaks. Further, funds will be allocated into laying the groundwork for future community projects to raise awareness about Autism.
After three years of successful “Music Speaks” concerts, founded by AJ Rafael, The Music Speaks Committee plan to make the concert series bigger than ever in order to raise more funds for Autism awareness. Past performances have included JR Aquino, Jennifer Chung, Passion, Gabe Bondoc, and Quest Dance Crew.
“A personal experience that inspired this goal is my nephew, Nathan, who was diagnosed with Autism when he was two years old. As he grows older, these misunderstandings could lead to prejudice and pain throughout his life” states AJ Rafael. “’Prom’ is a chance for guests, friends, and our family to get together and raise awareness for something extremely special.”
Guests must be 16 years old or older to purchase a ticket. General ticket price is currently $60.00. Starting June 1, 2012, ticket prices will increase to $67.00. The last day to purchase ticket will be on June 17, 2012. All tickets can be purchased at http://ajrafael.bigcartel.com/product/red-roses-formal-2012-ticket.
In true “Prom” fashion, purchase of a general admission includes a hand-made mailed invitation and ticket, an Italian dinner buffet, and a copy of AJ Rafael’s Red Roses album.
